Have you ever spent 10 days of pure indulgence? Now – you can! This tour is made for you! It starts with the pleasant drive to Ilok where you gonna explore all Croatian Attractions in East Slavonia, and from there via Đakovo and Karlovac we take you to the must-see in Croatia – Plitvice National Park. Just about the moment when your eyes are done with the color of green – we will take you to Adriatic Pearl – Opatija, and introduce you the Islands of Kvarner and its great winery. Then – head to the best match of red soil of Istria – the land of wine, great Istrian cuisine and remarkable history. You can never get enough of Istria – no one can 🙂 – but it’s time to see what neighbors do. Off to Slovenia – for some wine, famous caves and again great food. And finally to the capital of Croatia – Zagreb!
After breakfast After we drive towards romantic Rovinj. Rovinj/Rovigno was already a settlement of Venetian or Illyrian tribes before being captured by the Romans, Built on an island close to the coast, it became connected to the mainland much later, in 1763, by filling in the channel. Rovinj/Rovigno is today the third most populous town in the county, behind Pula/Pola and Poreč/Parenzo. Porec is our next stop, this area has been inhabited since prehistoric times. During the 2nd century BC, Roman Castrum was built on a tiny peninsula where the town center is now. During the reign of Emperor Augustus in the 1st century, it officially became a city and was part of the Roman colony of Colonia Iulia Parentium. In the 3rd century, the settlement had an organized Christian community with an early-Christian complex of sacral buildings like Euphrasian Basilica. Later head towards Slovenia to winery Scurek for wine tasting. When you have enough of amazing views or get hungry we go to a small family restaurant.
