Our excellent English speaking driver in private luxury sedan or minivan will pick you up right after breakfast in your Zagreb hotel or private accommodation at 9:00 AM for a private tour to Zadar via Rastoke and Plitvice. En route (after 1,5-hour drive), you will stop at Rastoke village waterfalls to enjoy the beauties of waterfalls.
Rastoke is a magical place and as well part of Slunj, located close to Zagreb, at a distance of 100 km. The river Slunjčica flows into the Korana river creating the beautiful sight of waterfalls, rapids, and lakes. Due to similar natural phenomena, Rastoke reminds us of “Plitvice Lakes National Park, takes usually” and for that reason, they are often called “The small lakes of Plitvice”.
After Rastoke mills you’ll continue for half an hour driving to the Plitvice Lakes NP (arrival approx. at 11:30). The tour usually takes about 3-4 hours.
Plitvice lakes are the biggest, most beautiful and most visited National park in Croatia. A multitude of cascades and bubbling waterfalls which are the perfect image of nature that has been built for more than thousand years. Plitvice lakes are part of Dinaric karst area and due to its specific geology, geomorphology and hydrology are one of the most impressive karst entities in the world.
