Palace Elisabeth 5* hotel is ideally situated on Hvar’s sea-facing main square next to the town hall and its 15th-century loggia.

The history of the hotel dates back to the 13th century. It was opened in 1899. under the name of Empress Elizabeth Spa Hotel since the Austrian Empress Elisabeth was the patron and co-financier of its construction. Respectively, the Palace Hotel bears her name, Palace Elisabeth, and is characterized by numerous architectural elements typical for the era of Empress Sisi.

A highlight is the glass-walled indoor pool on the ground floor opening onto an outdoor sun deck with lounge chairs for sunbathing. Other facilities include a spa with two saunas (Turkish and bio) and a menu of luxurious beauty treatments and customized massage therapies.
The vast majority of the 45 elegant guest rooms and suites have sea views, some with balconies.
It’s an easy stroll to the port (300 meters away) from where catamarans depart and arrive from Split and the islands of Korčula and Vis.
