This tour is made for you! It starts with the pleasant drive to Ilok where you gonna explore all Croatian Attractions in East Slavonia, and from there via Đakovo and Karlovac we take you to the must-see in Croatia – Plitvice National Park. Just about the moment when your eyes are done with the color of green – we will take you to Adriatic Pearl – Opatija, and introduce you to the Islands of Kvarner and its great winery. Then – head to the best match of red soil of Istria – the land of wine, great Istrian cuisine, and remarkable history. You can never get enough of Istria – no one can ???? – but it’s time to see what neighbors do. Off to Slovenia – for some wine, famous caves, and again great food. And finally to the capital of Croatia – Zagreb!

Day 1-3 Ilok

After arriving at the Zagreb airport, transfer to the amazing town of Ilok. Upon arrival – a glass of sparkling wine/or wine in Old Cellar restaurant for a typical Slavonian Dinner with wine tasting of 4 premium wines. Next day- guided tour of Old Cellar or Ilok museum, lunch with the best local specialties like fish stew or steak in Traminac wine. After lunch Vučedol museum- most significant archaeological sites in Europe and on the way back to Ilok a visit of private distillery homemade brandies tasting. Dinner included enjoying entertaining live band (original Croatian bećarac-humorous folk song). Overnight in Ilok.

Day 3 Ilok, Đakovo, Plitvice

After breakfast, we head to Djakovo amazing Cathedral. The Djakovo Cathedral or Basilica of St. Peter is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Djakovo, Croatia. Djakovo Cathedral is the biggest sacral newly built building of Croatian historicism. Later we drive towards Plitvice National Park. Overnight at Plitvice

Day 4 Plitvice National Park, Opatija

After breakfast Plitvice National Park guided tour. After lunch tour continues towards Opatija check in the hotel after 5 PM.Opatija – also called the Adriatic queen. You will be fascinated by its cultivated parks, its illuminated promenade and beautiful villas, and fountains Overnight in Opatija.

Day 5 Kvarner Bay

Kvarner is the perfect blend of the Croatian littoral and its mountainous part, of culture and architecture, of its various natural beauties. Rijeka – the largest Croatian harbor and the third largest city in Croatia. See the City Clock Tower, the Adamić palace, the St. Vitus Cathedral or take the 561 steps toward the Trsat castle where you can enjoy the most stunning view of the whole Kvarner Bay. Town of Krk – the largest town on the Island of Krk, dating back to prehistoric times, is today a tourist place of a rich cultural-artistic heritage. Baška – situated in one of the numerous green valleys of the Island of Krk, surrounded by wine yards and olive groves.Vrbnik – town on a 50 meters high cliff literally diving into the sea. Its houses are packed and streets narrow, and here you can find the narrowest street in the world. Overnight in Opatija

Day 6 Motovun, Pula

After breakfast scenic drive to Pula. The most significant architectural wealth is certainly impressive amphitheater whose construction began in the 1st century and It is the largest monument of architecture in Croatia. It also carries the title of the sixth-largest and best preserved among Roman amphitheaters in the world. It took 90 years to build Arena and it is the only remaining Roman amphitheater to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. Located on what was once the Roman Forum, Temple of Augustus, the small building with the rich history is the lovely thing to see while you are in Pula. When you have enough of history you are ready for the cooking class in Hotel Kastel. Enjoy local ingredients and learn how to prepare local dishes. Overnight in Motovun

Day 6 Livade, Grožnjan, Motovun

After breakfast, you will challenge your luck in Truffle hunting. Truffle hunting demonstrations are held with the well-experienced hunter who is doing this for many years. Hunting experience is usually held in small groups and you should have adequate footwear and clothes (boots, sneakers and long trousers, because it happens in forests – especially rich in truffles. When you weight your today’s catch head to Hum. It is officially listed as the smallest town in the world. On its western side, the town is enclosed by walls and on the remaining sides, houses are built into the defensive walls. Lunch on the way and after that visit Grisignano / Groznjan. Back to Hotel, dinner on your own. Overnight in Motovun

Day 7 Rovinj, Poreč

After breakfast After we drive towards romantic Rovinj. Rovinj/Rovigno was already a settlement of Venetian or Illyrian tribes before being captured by the Romans, Built on an island close to the coast, it became connected to the mainland much later, in 1763, by filling in the channel. Rovinj/Rovigno is today the third most populous town in the county, behind Pula/Pola and Poreč/Parenzo. Porec is our next stop, this area has been inhabited since prehistoric times. During the 2nd century BC, Roman Castrum was built on a tiny peninsula where the town center is now. During the reign of Emperor Augustus in the 1st century, it officially became a city and was part of the Roman colony of Colonia Iulia Parentium. In the 3rd century, the settlement had an organized Christian community with an early-Christian complex of sacral buildings like Euphrasian Basilica. Later head towards Slovenia to winery Scurek for wine tasting. When you have enough amazing views or get hungry we go to a small family restaurant. Drive towards the hotel. Day 8 Postojna, Zagreb

After breakfast visit Predjama castle -the second longest Slovene cave and is spread across four levels. After that visit, Postojna caves a fantastic web of tunnels, passages, galleries and halls, the astonishing diversity of Karst features as well as easy access are certainly the main reasons for such popularity of the cave. Lunch on your own in a restaurant on the way to Zagreb which is 2 hours away. Free evening on your own. Overnight in Zagreb

Day 9 Zagreb, Trakoščan

After breakfast city tour of Zagreb. After a short break, we will head to Medieval Trakoscan castle for an exploration of Croatian history from the 13th century until today. Trakošćan Castle, built in the 13th century, is surely one of the most interesting castles in Croatia. Back to Zagreb and free afternoon on your own.

Day 10 Zagreb, Airport

After breakfast departs to Zagreb Airport….. Farewell until next time.
