Today, ethno-village Kumrovec is the most traditional interior in Croatia, which depicts the authentic look of Zagorje village in the early 20th century, in 40 restored buildings of traditional architecture we can see where Marshal Tito was born and lived his early years. When finished we will cross the border of Slovenia to visit the undiscovered gem of the Slovenian vine-making industry. The small town of Bizeljsko where Istenič family for 40 years grow and create some of the best sparkling wines in Slovenia.
The town of Bizeljsko was not always known as such. This name was reserved for an entire region of several villages and hamlets. In 1968 the family Istenič bought an abandoned farmhouse and vineyard and produced their first sparkling wine using the traditional method. Since then Janez Istenič laid the foundations for one of Slovenia’s largest houses of sparkling wines using the traditional method, and today the permanent stock of aging wines totals 500,000 bottles. The numerous prizes and awards won over the years testify to the quality of Istenič sparkling wines. After wine tasting, we will drive for few minutes to the famous ranch with deers called Deer Reef.

After wine tasting, we will drive for few minutes to the famous ranch with deer called Deer Reef (Jelenov Greben).
Here you will feed the deer and when you get hungry the lunch with local specialties will be served. Depending on your preference, you can choose to visit the chocolate shop or craft beer pub!
When finished you will visit one of the first pharmacies in Europe and head back to Zagreb!
