HVAR WINE TASTING TOUR

In the 4th ctr. BC, the Ancient Greeks, brought the grapevine to this sunny island and planted it in the fertile plain of the ancient town Pharos. People on Hvar cultivated their vineyards with great skill and are blessed with the lushness of the Mediterranean.

They grew some of the most excellent varieties in this area, but the challenge still remains: how to turn this richness and harmony into excellent wines. The wines from Hvar have become very competitive at wine fairs, winning first prizes and are among the best wines in Croatia.

Our Wine Tour is a fully guided tour, we provide the personal attention and service that will make your trip more enjoyable and a memorable way to spend your day! So, we like to call this tour also Wine Timeline, because we will see two types of vineries; Tomić- a modern one in Jelsa, and a very traditional one Pinjada in Vrboska.

Traditional wine tasting is always done in a relaxed atmosphere at the table. In the wine cellar, you will taste local wines of your choice, and the wine tasting guide will describe the individual wines in an entertaining way and provide information worth knowing about this drink noblest of all.
