Historical and gastronomic treasures in Split
The Split historical and gastronomic tour is where history and gastronomy intertwine to create a truly unforgettable experience. Join us on a guided tour as we unravel the layers of this ancient city, revealing its historical gems and culinary delights.

Split is a feast for the eyes and a haven for food enthusiasts. Our gastronomic adventure takes us to local eateries and farmers’ market, where you’ll sample the best of Dalmatian cuisine. Indulge in mouthwatering prosciutto, artisanal cheeses, and freshly caught seafood.

The first stop is at the green market, the belly of Split, where you taste prosciutto and pancetta with “peka” bread. Then you go forward to various types of homemade cheese tasting, followed by the soparnik tasting. Soparnik is a kind of mangel pie, a local specialty protected by the geographical origin in the territory of the EU, but in Dalmatia, it has been popular forever.

The next stop is seafood plate tasting (salted anchovies, octopus…), black risotto, homemade pasta with two different sauces, and local red and white wine. And last but not least, tasting traditional sweets and homemade gelato in the oldest Pastry shop in Split.
You will stop by some of Split’s historical highlights like the Green market, Diocletian’s Palace, Peristil Square, Vestibul, Cardo, Golden Gate, Narodni and Vocni medieval squares, and Riva promenade.

This guided tour promises to be a perfect blend of history, culture, and gastronomy, ensuring that your visit to Split is not just a trip but an immersive experience.
Come join us and uncover the treasures that make this Dalmatian gem genuinely unique.
