Or do you prefer the flight over the film location of the famous worldwide musical Mamma Mia 2 on Vis Island in the Croatian Adriatic? Or better, The Gold Horn – the famous Bol’s beach that never looks the same – if you do it once, make sure you take a picture of it, as the next time it will look different!

A rich history of Split and its surroundings can be explored from above on one of our private flying tours, like the flight over the most famous Croatian knight’s ALKARS town – Sinj, or the flight over the most famous Roman palace – Diocletian’s?

I know – it’s hard to decide!  Moreover, we have more!

Maybe a flight over the national park Plitvice Lakes and Krka?

Find the private flight that suits you the best!

The Flight Over the Islands of Kornati and Šibenik

The flight starts by gliding over the Sinj field and crossing over the slopes of Kozjak towards Trogir. Trogir holds the status of a museum city, and from above will look amazing.

Constituted by the Greek settlers in the 3rd century, Trogir went through rich artistic and historical centuries in its appearance. Today, it is a city under UNESCO protection since 1997.

The view of the Kaštela Bay appears as the flight continues towards Rogoznica and Primošten.

Soon, you will see the city of Šibenik on your right-hand side, where the contours of the Kornati islands will start to emerge.

Interestingly, the first parachute was invented by Faust Vrančić, who was born in Šibenik and buried on Prvić island nearby Šibenik.

Kornati National Park makes a unique stance because this wonder of nature is entirely made of islands, smaller islands, and cays, or, to be more precise, 89 of them!

The flight over interesting cliffs, tiny islands, and reefs takes about fifteen minutes. It ends with a turn towards Šibenik, where we leave Kaštela Bay on our left-hand side.

The trip ends with flying over the town of Sinj and landing at the airport.

Max 3 pax  Cruise speed 255 km/h  Duration: 90 min

The Flight Over Hollywood’s MAMMA MIA 2 film locations

This attractive route will bring the beauty of Split and the Central Dalmatian islands of Šolta, Brač, and Hvar to the passengers while flying towards Vis, a hidden pearl of Dalmatia.

The popular sequel to the Hollywood hit “Mamma Mia” was filmed on the island of Vis in 2017. The island served as the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi from the movie. The filming locations for Mamma Mia were primarily in Vis town, Komiža, and Barjoška.

Komiža is a quiet village where fishing on the eastern side of the Adriatic was born.

Barjoška is a small cove on the northern side of the island of Vis, which became a famous Hollywood location overnight. It is a popular attraction that many tourists visit: from movie lovers to couples who picked the picturesque beach for their ceremony.

Passengers will enjoy the tour around this beautiful island with a rich history.

The Flight Over the Most Famous Croatian Knights, Alkars Town – Sinj

This route begins with the departure from the Sinj Airport and a flight over the medieval knight’s town of the same name. Sinj is known for the Sinj Alka, a knight’s game held in Sinj since the beginning of the 18th century as a sign of victory over the Ottoman invaders, and for the shrine of Our Lady of Sinj.

After departure from the Sinj Airport, we fly to the Peruča Lake, with its flooded villages at the bottom of the second-largest artificial lake in Croatia. With the fall of the water level, a whole village dives out, and you can clearly see its contours.

After Peruča Lake, we continue gliding along the river Cetina to the town of Trilj, turning around the Sinj field and heading to the airport. From its source, Cetina descends from 385 meters above sea level to the Adriatic Sea. It is the most water-rich river in Dalmatia. You’ll love to see it from above because it looks like the “eye of the earth” with varied shades of blue and turquoise. Seen from above, it represents the unique beauty of nature.

Duration – 20 min, Max 3 pax, Cruise speed 255 km/h

We proceed with our flight towards Omiš, placed right at the mouth of Cetina’s beautiful canyon, offering the open sea’s mesmerizing view. The flight continues along the coastline towards the suburbs of Split, where we turn towards the Klis fortress and the town of Sinj. The village is home to a medieval fortress overlooking the city of Split.

The Game of Thrones, a famous HBO fantasy drama, made Dubrovnik much more popular among the younger population.

Dubrovnik was playing’ the famous King’s Landing, the capital of all seven kingdoms, the magical old walled city.

During this exciting flight towards Dubrovnik, you’ll enjoy the grace of Southern Dalmatia. After flying over the mighty Biokovo mountain, the view of the islands of Mljet and Korčula and the Pelješac peninsula will appear on the horizon, after which the Elaphites will start to emerge. The Elaphite Islands are one of the most beautiful archipelagos of the Adriatic.

The climax is a circle over the famous walls of Dubrovnik, where the popular fantasy drama Game of Thrones was filmed, and the beauty of the massive walls is quite breathtaking.

The Old Town of Dubrovnik is like it was built upon the instructions of the author George R.R. Martin. You will have the chance to experience the fantasy of Game of Thrones from above!
