Hidden Villages and Timeless Stories
A short drive along a dirt road leads us to Malo Grablje, a small village abandoned decades ago. Upon arrival, we take a short walk through this picturesque settlement, founded in the 16th century.
After Malo Grablje, we continue to Velo Grablje, before reaching Vidikovac, a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the deepest bay on the island. Here, your guide will share stories about the region, including insights into the oldest town in Croatia, founded by ancient Greeks.

Next, we drive to the highest peak of the island, St. Nicholas (626 m).
From the top, enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Hvar and the surrounding islands of Brač, Korčula, and Vis. It is one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the entire Adriatic.
Below the summit lies Sveta Nedelja, a village surrounded by dramatic vineyards carved into steep sunny slopes. This region is famous for producing exceptional red wine from the Plavac grape.

Driving down the hill, you will witness the true diversity of Hvar: vineyard-covered slopes, olive groves, and endless fields of rosemary and lavender, all blending into a sun-soaked Mediterranean paradise.
We then continue to the abandoned medieval village of Humac for lunch at the traditional tavern “Humac.” This authentic setting brings you back in time with its rustic atmosphere, organic local produce, and traditional food preparation.
Meals are cooked in the traditional “peka” style, under a bell-shaped lid covered with hot coals. For lunch, you may choose octopus, lamb, veal, or chicken with potatoes.

After lunch, we continue along the north coast to Vrboska, where we stop at Soline Beach for a relaxing swim and free time by the sea.
A Perfect Ending
As the Hvar off-road journey comes to an end around 5:00 PM, we return to Hvar Town via the new scenic road, ending a day filled with discovery, flavor, and unforgettable views.
