The story began in 1968, when Janez Istenič purchased an abandoned farmhouse and vineyard and produced the first sparkling wine using the traditional method. Over time, this became one of Slovenia’s most respected sparkling wine houses, with a permanent aging stock of around 500,000 bottles. Numerous international awards confirm the quality and craftsmanship behind these wines.
